One honest sentence
When my son said that, I remembered feeling exactly the same way at school — told to study, never shown a way in that didn't feel enormous.
So I built him a custom AI study coach. It used his subjects and his interests, asked him short questions, and made starting feel small. It worked. He used it.
Then every school term, I had to rebuild it: new subjects, new dates, new instructions. The tool that was meant to take pressure off the student had quietly created a job for the parent. That friction is what WattKind exists to remove.
What we learned the hard way
Turning that one-off coach into something other families could use, my first instinct was to pull every piece of school information into one place — timetables, portals, worksheets, the lot. It sounds helpful. It isn't.
School information is scattered across subjects, teachers and platforms, and any copy of it goes stale within weeks. We would have built one more incomplete system for a family to check and maintain — exactly the burden we were trying to remove.
So we stepped back. StudyKind uses just enough context to start a useful conversation — a timetable photo, a subject, something the student remembers from class. The school stays the source of truth.

A tool that only works when everyone is organised and rested isn't a tool for our house.
